Lorraine & Tomas

were married at the beginning of July. Their beautiful ceremony was held beside the beach at Clachtoll. Local & seasonal was very important to them for their special day that included Lorraine's favourite peaches and pinks in her bouquet.

Their lovely day was captured by local photographer John Maccarthy at Lochinver Landscapes. Thanks too to Tiril and Dorrian for creating the arch florals.

‘For years, I had been dreaming of a truly, authentic Scottish wedding. I don’t think I ever quite realised the crucial role flowers would play in this. But they did - the beautiful, home grown flowers, foliage and blossoms Libby lovingly brought together for us from her garden completely transformed our special day. The care and attention she put into selecting each flower shone through in each moment - I was even lucky enough to have a gorgeous purple scottish thistle nestled away in my spectacular bouquet of oranges and yellows. We displayed her beautiful arrangements along our outdoor aisle, across our wooden arch and as centrepieces for our dinner tables, and had button holes and corsages carefully made to wear from her natural flowers. They made our day wholesome, bright, warm and truly magical, and I will always be thankful to Libby and her incredible talents for giving us this. I can’t recommend her enough to anyone hoping to use flowers to enhance, decorate and mark a special occasion’.
